Ultimately I think there no such thing as No any longer, there is only Yes…
freely adapted from Sally Potter

Timelessness and transformation: the new project by Circus Quantenschaum combines characters the audience can identify with, with the very unique expressivity of Indian Kathakali dancers, who establish contact with the audience via archetypical gestures and facial expressions and at the same time transport a completely different philosophy of life. Circus Quantenschaum sees itself as a negotiator between scientific and artistic disciplines. Different forms of “popular theater” – circus, Shakespearean theater and south-Indian Kathakali – are interwoven. Juggling, trapeze artistry and elements of the circus complete the aesthetic language of the stage with which the characters translate scientific metaphors: “Yes”, nature decides in favor of something. “No” is only a subordinated consequence.
